What is therapy? Why to people go to therapy?

Where is your office?
Our office is in Costa Mesa, near the 55 and 405 Freeways; The address is 3001 Red Hill Ave, #1-203, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. You can find a map on the "contact" page.

Do you take insurance? 
No. However, professional therapy services may be reimbursable through many insurance companies. Please contact your insurance company and ask if they “reimburse for out of network providers.” If so, you will pay us directly for the session and receive a super-bill (receipt) for you to turn into your insurance company. Depending on your plan, they may reimburse all or part of the fees. 

What are the fees? How long are the sessions?
The fee range is dependent on the therapist you work with; Please email us to find the therapists specific fee. Sessions are 50-55 mins long. Payments may be made in cash, check, or credit card at the time of service.

Do you have a "sliding scale" or a reduced fee?
We no longer offer a sliding scale for therapy session but am happy to discuss options, resources, and referrals with you. We also offer groups, or psycho-educational workshops as a lower fee resource.  

When do you see clients?
Appointment times very based on what therapists you are working with. Depending on availability appointments are made during the day time, evening and on weekends. Please let us know what time works best for you and we will try to match your schedule with our available therapists.

Who do you see? / What types of clients do you work with?
We work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. 

How long does “it” take?
Due to the subjective nature of each individual case it is impossible to make a blanket statement of what the length of therapy will be. We suggest investing 4-6 sessions and then collectively we can evaluate your goals and challenges and set out a clearer treatment plan. Some folks may come in once or twice a month for several months, while others may come in once or twice a week.
